Freshman: I'm having a great time at UM! Move-in is phenomenal; the school provides professional movers to help families unload their vehicles and get students' belongings to the rooms. Orientation programming is fun and includes a variety of activities for students and parents. Class registration for engineering students is completely stress-free. Freshman: I am an early admittance student slated to begin my journey as a college freshman during my senior year of high school at UCF starting in August of 2023. My experience has been incredibly positive so far beginning with my initial tour of the campus, through the application and acceptance process and lastly checking off my "to do" checklist in order to be ready for orientation. Senior: Great school for the arts and entertainment. Whether it be music television writing or film! They offer business programs as well as all of the classes are online. Right in the center of Florida. I would say they fall short in the amenities that normal universities have such as athletics, housing, and school party lifestyle. But this is no ordinary school, it is an entertainment based school. Where other universities lack, full sail thrives. Everyone has similar interests and are like minded people. If you have an appreciation for the arts, you understand the power this school posses. Networking in general is the way to gain leverage in the industry and powering your personal circle and uniting in the name of your similar interests and goals. With all that being said school is an investment, and full sail is undeniably a for profit school. Sophomore: Most might see Ringling College of Art and Design and think, “That’s a clown college!” Just like I did. And you know what? They would be mistaken. Just like I was. It wasn’t until I happened upon an instagram ad for a Major in Screenwriting that I discovered just how mistaken I was. Ringling is an actual Art School that is DEEPLY connected into the industries of Filmmaking, Illustration, Video Game Design, Creative Writing with focuses on Scripts and Novels, and even Sculpting! More importantly, the school connects students with major players and companies within their respective fields (Disney, Pixar, Blizzard, etc.). Students from around the world learn to master their craft and network through incredible instructors and connected internships. Lastly, as a current student, I have had so much fun! I hated school until I started at Ringling. Now, I show up early and stay late, doing my best to learn and discover as much as I can. Come see for yourselves. Dreams really come true here!...
