Sophomore: So far everything has been great! The campus is beautiful during the summer and fall, although the winter scenery is lovely. We have a diverse range of athletics available to everyone and in my opinion, were the best in the state. The professors show that they care for what they teach and for their students just by how they present themselves in class and when just talking one on one. The surrounding area has amazing restaurants to go out to such as The Black Sheep. Sophomore: I attend Webster University for Musical Theatre, and the Conservatory is an outstanding place to study! The professors, especially in the conservatory, really deeply care about your growth and success. Sophomore: My experience at Missouri Western has been awesome. I love the campus and how it almost give you that small town vibe. From the first time I stepped foot onto this campus being with the campus tour and them moving into my dorm for the first time and starting classes, I have always felt welcome and never out of place. Graduate Student: My first couple of weeks at Missouri State University-west plains was rough and really tested my strength (mental and physical). I faced challenges and obstacles that were new to me and being far from home didn't make it any easier. Although academics are a big reason as to why you go to college, college is so much more than that. After a couple weeks at MSU-west plains, I joined different student clubs and organizations. Being involved in more than your classes can better your college experience by widening your opportunities, creating friendships and memories that last forever. Other: "Imagine what the world has yet to see". A perfect motto. When I visited as a potential student, I was left imagining all the different possibilities of what my life could be if/when I attend the school. The walking distances between the classes, the cafeteria, and the museum were extremely manageable and comforting to know that they could be reached in less than 10 minutes! The faculty gave presentations of the different courses the school offers, it left me in awe as I repeatedly learned of classes I didn't know existed. And not only that, but how they could be incorporated into the varies types of art mediums that students already know and want to do as their career. The architectural designs of the buildings and their interior made it all the more stunning as things were organized by size,color, or aesthetic.
