With a good, solid education, a high level of campus diversity, an ideal location in south Augusta, and excellent professors, Augusta Technical College is a first rate school with many opportunities. Whether you wish to study a trade, a medical major, or some other area of study, Augusta Technical College is where you wish to be. Not to mention the low tuition prices. Sophomore: I started school at Lanier Technical College in the fall of 2019. I was very impressed with the admissions process and registering for classes was very easy! I had no troubles with holds and was able to contact the registrar/admissions office with any questions I had. So far, all of the professors I've had were fantastic! Even when we went online during covid, they all communicated effectively and made the transition to online learning seamless. The best part about this college is how affordable it is! Freshman: I find Georgia Piedmont Tech to be a great school. Everything is made simple and convenient from my enrollment process to student orientation for the first day. Staff is very helpful, there are many resources to help with fees, childcare, job search, tutoring and much more. Freshman: I am an incoming transfer student who is excited to work in the film and production industry. I love any school that allows creative freedom, but SCAD is on a whole different level! Every building and dorm is so nicely put together and just pops with color, that is what drew me in as well as the amount of technology available to students advanced cameras for film studios, 2 virtual production LED walls - everyone with an idea will bring it all to life. This is perfect for me, not only because I have the materials I need to make my upcoming project a success, but I can also learn how to better my writing, animating, and illustrating skills! But what I love most about SCAD is that it guarantees a student's successful future by bringing in thriving companies from around the country. Sophomore: The school was great I've only been on campus to get books and tutoring but it was always a great space. The staff and teachers are very open to helping whenever needed.
