Alum: Delaware College of Art and Design is an amazing school if you aren’t ready to set foot directly into a larger art institution/a bigger portion of the art world. The curriculum here is great, your first semester of your first year is full of learning many different skills of different subjects, in the event thag you may find one of these subjects to be far more interesting than what you thought you would originally major in. The professors are lovely and always willing to help you out, as well as give you advice or boost your self esteem regarding your art. They promote an amazing, comfortable and positive atmosphere here (majority of the time). Student services had been lovely to work with, as I myself had been an RA my second year. Unfortunately, almost that entire year had been done online because of COVID. There had been tons of disorganization and things changing last minute.
