She’s explained things to me well and has been very supportive. As for other departments, they seem to be behind and short staffed. There’s been a few hiccups in registration due to other departments but got resolved thanks to my advisor. Graduate Student: I graduated from the Respiratory Care program at NSCC. Although it was a rigorous program and fast paced, the professors were great and always provided resources and were reason my accommodating. Freshman: I love the faculty and staff there! They have helped me so much financially, academically, informatively...the list goes on. I have been a proud student at my college since day one. I am still receiving a great education, and I love my classes. The classes that I am taking are definitely helping me with my major and also helping me realize what I want to do in the future in college. I could not be any more grateful to be a member at my college. I feel accepted there. I feel welcome and not as an outcast anywhere in the institution. Freshman: I'm an incoming Freshman at Hudson Valley Community College, starting later this month. I visited the school out of curiosity for their new Welding Technologies associate degree program. I found the campus and all the services offered to be great. The Welding lab, including the Virtual Welding equipment was excellent and well set up. By the end of my visit, I knew that I wanted to attend this school and I applied immediately. I will be able to really increase my welding skills and be better prepared for my career. The college made the application and registration process very easy, with most things taken care of online or by email. This helped tremendously since I have a full-time job and wasn't able to visit or call the school during my workday. Once I start my classes I'll change my working hours to part time so that I can both focus on my studies and take part in some of the campus activities. I am very excited to begin!...
