Freshman: My overall experience has been great! I feel very welcomed and accommodated on campus, and the support from staff and students is amazing! When I first arrived, I was immediatley offered help with moving into my dorm and my RA swiftly came to introduce herself to me and my family. Classes have begun this week, and my professors are all supportive of students and want to help everyone be successful in their classes. Sophomore: WWCC had a plethora of supportive and communicative staff that always had my best interest in mind! However, counseling staff did get wires crossed on many occasions and it did cause a delay in credits or tuition or scholarships. Freshman: I've been loving my experience at WVC so far. I'm only halfway into my first year here, and I already feel at home. While not being a University, one may think that a community college does not have as much to offer. However, the staff at my college does a great job at answering every question I have, and with enthusiasm. The professors do a great job creating a good learning environment for their students, which helps me to expand my learning potential. I cannot say enough great things about Wenatchee Valley College. Not only are the staff and faculty amazing, but the students here are as well. I've made many friends in all of my courses in so little time. Freshman: Overall, my experience at YVC has been great! The professors are kind and understanding. They care about you as person, and they put you before school or anything else. It really feels like a community here. There's so much diversity at the school and it's wonderful to see. You'll be able to meet people of all ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, etc. Although COVID has made things difficult with being online or halfway in person, you don't get the same experience. The campus also has free tutoring, a there's always someone you can talk to or go to, to get help or ask questions. Sometimes it's hard to talk with the YVC main offices, and the communication isn't always great. However, in the long run, they help you figure out whatever you need, you may just need a little bit of patience with them. Alum: South Puget Sound Community College was overall a great 2 year with many resources and perks. I attended as a running start student and felt welcomed and was treated like an adult. There is a plethora of available fields of study for whichever path you are taking. I had many wonderful and helpful professors. Very clean and beautiful campus immersed in trees but still in a convenient location. The social aspect of this college is not its strong suit, and I might recommend more events and ways to connect, though if you are strictly focused on your studies then it is perfect!...
