Senior: Fantastic experience thus far. I have transferred from a lackluster institution and Purdue blows it out of the water. Academics within the Polytechnic Institute have been both challenging but rewarding to pursue by yourself--or better yet with others! Campus is beautiful and is rapidly expanding upon but more housing is needed on campus and by West Lafayette (thankfully downtown Lafayette is a great off campus place to be). Senior: I have enjoyed my experience so much at Gulf Coast State College. The professors are all so nice and helpful, with very well designed courses. Freshman: Kent State is an amazing school! They have great club academics and athletics that really cater to anyone's needs or dreams. As a poly science student I have an overwhelming amount of resources that help me in my studies, networking and making myself a better person. At first I had doubt about Kent State due to it living in the shadow of Ohio State University (I live in central Ohio near Columbus for reference.) But I was so wrong. Sophomore: I love the campus and faculty. The campus is beautifully placed next to Lake Coeur D'Alene, very close to downtown and restaurants. The food on campus is great, even just at the marketplace cafeteria, but Emery's restaurant, run by the culinary arts students is incredible and well priced! Most of my professors so far have shown great passion for what they teach and provide students with the resources needed to succeed. I have had some less engaged professors, but I still had enough resources to do well. Even in my online courses, I have been able to stay engaged and on track because of the well chosen course material.
