Sophomore: The student organizations, resources for students, and variety of courses is incredible. Every day I discover a new opportunity for professional and personal growth and the resources for mental and physical health are phenomenal. The fitness centers on campus have classes, personal training, and top notch equipment. There are so many ways to get involved and a club for EVERY interest, both personal and professional. My only complaints are that the advisors can be hit or miss. Some advisors are incredible and give you a breath of information and provide you with a ton of resources but some advisors left me with more questions than answers. Some of the professors are amazing and passionate and the reason why I changed my major to economics. On the other hand some professors were so incredibly bad that I changed my major to something outside of their discipline. Freshman: I'm having a great time at UM! Move-in is phenomenal; the school provides professional movers to help families unload their vehicles and get students' belongings to the rooms. Orientation programming is fun and includes a variety of activities for students and parents. Class registration for engineering students is completely stress-free. Graduate Student: Hi, I am currently a student at Keiser University and I plan to graduate in 2024 with my associates degree in Medical Assisting in Science. My overall experience so far has been amazing! Each course is fully explained from the instructors and the course content is enjoyable to learn. I find navigating the course content online super simple and grades are always posted promptly. Keiser University has given me every opportunity so far to excel towards success. Personally, I struggled figuring out how to navigate between student portals and the course work my first week and the staff at Keiser University was there to guide me through all the steps and took the time to explain everything to me. The counselor even called to check that I was getting the hang of everything here and there my first month. Freshman: Barry University is both a place of comfort and a place that pushes you to step out of your comfort zone. Being at Barry, you are introduced to different people from different parts of the world. Despite how diverse it is, everyone is treated equally. At first, I use to think that the teachers and Students were just being nice because I was a freshman. Turns out, that’s just the effect that Barry University has on you. It allows one to be so instilled in love, that it becomes the norm of one’s personality. Barry has a balanced atmosphere, there’s very little distraction which can cause you to lose focus on what’s important. Small class sizes and low key events, are one of the reasons why I’ll be staying at Barry. Here at Barry, you are encouraged to be yourself at your own pace. Sophomore: I enjoy the flexibility that an online college program enables. As a full-time business owner and operator and a part-time student, I need flexibility to attend to all aspects of my life, including caring for those in my household. I am very happy with my professors, and I feel like I am learning a lot of valuable information. My lectures are recorded, which makes me feel like I am still in the classroom learning the material live with my fellow classmates. Freshman: If you want to be a creative in the advertising industry Miami Ad School is the most certain and direct path to this. The program is very diverse and will expose you to different trains of thought and skills that you will need to have to complete a portfolio to get hired. That being said, the program tends to have small groups of students which allows for a ton of exposure and personalized learning experience BUT the program is as good as the work you put in. If you dont take every assignment as an opportunity to add to your portfolio you will just get by and the program nor the teachers will push you. Junior: UF Online is the college I’m attending now as a full time student. It is a virtual campus meaning all the classes are fully online and you can take them from any corner of the world! I really like this aspect of UF Online as it makes learning very convenient and flexible. It gets a solid 4/5 from me. Only reason it didn’t get a 5, is because I am paying out-of-state tutoring which is really expensive and that is the only drawback to attending from out-of state or as an international student....
