Junior: All of the students and faculty are extremely kind and considerate. The professors give a stimulating amount of work and will accommodate to your needs so long as you tell them your situation. Something that I would change is the advertising of clubs and organizations on campus to make them more well known, my first year I wasn’t a part of any organizations because I didn’t know what the university offered. Now I am a member of a club and an officer of an organization and I love it! The head of student affairs is incredibly generous, and the others officers and I work well together. Something else I love is the use of student input in classroom and university in its entirety. Students can take surveys received in emails to evaluate their class, campus, and university. Also, many courses of all subjects have had open discussions about material where students options matter. Freshman: I believe Pace University has a strong sense of community as a result of all the varying activities offered on campus. Regardless of the date or time, there is always something to do. Whether it's painting tote bags with the art club or making build-a-bears with Black student union, Pace provides an exciting and welcoming environment. This has also made socializing and making new friends easier. I personally have not have enough negative experiences with the college to make a claim about something that should be changed. However, several of my friends have had discouraging encounters at the dinning hall in the past. Alum: I had a really good first semester at Nassau Community College but unfortunately, I didn't get to experience my full year at Nassau Community College as the pandemic had hit and everything was shifted to online. Most of my professors that I had were very accommodating and patient to the transition. My only complaint would be that the advisors can sometimes be rude and not in the slightest bit helpful. I have one advisor that help me with a specific issue and basically told me to go to her for any help that I needed but then turned her back on me after I came to her in regards to another issue that had to do with my financial aid. Graduate Student: Housatonic is a great community oriented school. I decided to go there to complete my pre-requisite for Dental Hygiene and all of my credits were transfers. I love the campus and professor so much that decided to complete my associates degree and Health Science certification. Professor are great and the tactics they use to teach you complex concepts, especially in the science field, I can say that have stuck with me until this day where I am completing my undergrad degree. This is a school that constantly recommend this school to coworkers and fellow church members when they decide to embark into their college career. Alum: For me, Purchase was an excellent school in an excellent location. Although I could have attended a Big City college, they beckoned, Purchase was the right choice for me. College is stressful enough without the stresses of Big City living while on a very limited budget. Don't get me wrong, nothing & nowhere is perfect. But the quasi-suburban/rural location worked for me. Education wise, professor wise, well, I was Top 5% all my classes & courses. I'm not sure would have happened elsewhere. Junior: Marymount is a great college to go to if you're looking for a city school experience and want to major in anything in the theatre field. Freshman: The teachers really push you to be the absolute best actor you can be. They teach you to be truthful and play moment go moment.
