Freshman: During my first year at Tri-County Technical College, I was surrounded by students and staff with a can-do attitude and a willingness to help others. The broadcasted and available support throughout the campus makes the students feel like they are not alone through their college journey, whether they are freshmen or seniors. Something that I enjoyed and made a difference in my academic career was the Student Success Center. There were many resources that were available in the center that could help with not only studying but for extra help if needed. Some of the resources that were available included; tutoring services, private study rooms, and the writing center. Something that I would like to see change is the hours of the campus store. The store closes at five-thirty. This closing time can be difficult for some students due to the times that their classes get out.
