Freshman: Ogeechee Tech College seems like a nice college campus with friendly and helpful staff members. I plan on attending there for this coming Summer semester so i am more than excited for that! The area around the college seems a little depressing and gloomy but hopefully i will like it once i start. The only thing i do not really care for is the layout of the college campus buildings. They have the main campus building almost in the back when you would think it would be at the front of the campus so new students and visitors would be able to easily see it. I am not sure why they have the layout like that. But overall, i think i will have a good experience attending Ogeechee Tech College. Freshman: GNTC Floyd Campus is a great technical college to attend. The tuition is reasonable and they provide so many courses to choose from. They get every student involved with outside activities, too! So far, due to the covid pandemic, I have only been able to do online courses. Freshman: I love the small school atmosphere of GGC. I have the opportunity to connect with my professors in ways that some other colleges don’t. For instance, my professors know my handwriting! The small town atmosphere created here at GGC is helpful when learning. I can easily access my teachers knowledge on and off the clock. I also the appreciate the look of the campus. Aside from building A, the campus looks modern and welcoming. I wish that the parking situation would be improved and i believe other students think so as well. The gravel lots are inconvenient. If they could be replaced with asphalt that would be nice. A new parking lot near buildings W, C, and B would be nice for students who aren’t staying in the dorms. Junior: Georgia Highlands is an amazing college with so many professors who want to do everything they can to help you succeed. I take online, asynchronous classes so I can work full time and do school in my spare time. It make my schedule very flexible, and although some people don’t do as well online, there are so many different options to help you personally succeed. There are so many resources aside from your own professors office hours that can help you in so many ways if you are struggling including online zoom/tutoring sessions if you have questions about school work and other issues. Junior: I’ve been to southern crescent a few times however this time I’ve had the best experience. I believe that’s because of the revamping and the new staff. The financial aid process was super smooth, counselors are available, and each of my professors communication has been beyond excellent. The organization and growth of the school/ campus over all has been amazing to watch. They host events and activities for the students that keep us engaged and the time frame in which they inform us is perfect! we know things at least a week or 2 maybe even a month in advance and the event dates are always sent via email with reminders.
