Freshman: My experience with Missouri State University was terrific! The campus was beautiful and easy to navigate. The professors were knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects, making the classes engaging and interesting. The student body was friendly and diverse, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed extracurricular activities such as club sports and volunteer organizations. One thing I would like to see change is parking availability on campus. Junior: This college is awesome! I honestly saved more money financially and didn’t take any loans out. The teacher are amazing and very understanding when it comes to you and your work problems. I personally would recommend this college, many will say it’s basic to go to a community college but when you graduate ask them if it was basic after they have taken all those loans after you have taken none out! Your experience here in OTC will be fun! More hands on in whatever field you choose and also remember it’s more faster then a bachelors. OTC is a fun way to get your associates the fastest and easiest way. Being debt-free and also have a more hands-on experience when it comes to the classroom you’re taking, not just in the field you’re doing. You can explore other different types of fields and different types of classes to discover what is best for yourself and for your future. Senior: If you're looking for a Christ-centered community, dedicated professors who truly care about your wellbeing, an education that will prepare you for your field, and friends for life--look no further. Southwest Baptist University was an answer to prayer for many, including me. There has been a bit of drama recently regarding the school board etc., but that did not stop me from learning and growing exponentially in my time there. It's bittersweet finishing up my last semester, as I realize I'm saying goodbye to the place where I've made so many memories, while diving head-first into the mission field it's prepared me for. Also, it's been said they "give out scholarships like candy" and I didn't have to take out a single student loan. Private universities don't have to cost you an arm and a leg! Go for it!... Freshman: I was hesitant to come to the university. It's a PWI that is known for parties and athletics drama. But I'm glad I came. This school offers so many hands-on experiences with some of the best professors you'll ever meet. They allow career prospects some schools won't even give to you, and they do it for free while also providing an enriching and somewhat lovely experience. The price tag is scary, but the experience of being a Bryant Bulldog is so worth it. However, be prepared if you're a multicultural POC. There will be mild slurs thrown around and cultural appropriation. However, the school takes active measures against those who do such acts and thoroughly provides research in dormitories on what to stay away from to avoid committing cultural appropriation....
