Many of the professors I had the pleasure of learning from were passionate and driven about their area of study, and this translated to a care for their students' academic well-being. Moreover, this often translated to a care for their students' overall well-being. While it cannot be said for everyone, in my personal experience, a majority of the professors and peers I came across were kind and motivated by community advancement. I found, most especially in the courses relative to my English (Creative Writing) major, a community of people who not only sought success and enrichment for themselves but for their peers around them. Sophomore: Based to my personal experience, ASU Midsouth offers students a safe environment and a variety of options to take part in extracurricular activities. In addition, there are a ton of resources available to students, like free tutoring, Chromebooks for rent, and even free food at events and celebrations! There are undoubtedly a lot more things, but these are the ones that come to mind right away. I appreciate how the school offers each student a chance to succeed and how accommodating they are to everyone. The only thing I would change is that I would like every student to be aware of every opportunity that arises, simply because I have noticed that not every student is even aware of the resources available to them on campus to help them during their time at Mid-South.... Sophomore: My experience at Christian Brothers University so far has been meaningful and very memorable. The tight-knit community that surrounds the institution encourages each Indvidual to embrace their identity and be themselves around campus. They are lots of experiences and opportunities for students to express themselves and grow in their image. Junior: I think the school is really great for people who do not want to go to 4 years of college for a medical profession. I love that I’m able to do their required “prerequisites” as the general education terms. I do think a lot of the process to get in is confusing and out of order. There are lots of people that you can ask questions that you may have by you may get different answers from different people. Protege stage is where we shadow other people and learn from watching them.
