Junior: Hi! My experience at Howard Community College was "very good", and I appreciate the educational support from my professors. In addition, they help me understand certain college work, that I'm having trouble with. At the same time, I appreciate how were given a reasonable deadline for our college assignments. Which means that I have enough time to complete my work, before the deadline. Not to mention, the professors doesn't mind if students turn in their work in early, before the deadline. However, what I dislike from the college is when I resell college books to the college, and they didn't accept. Therefore, they need to show more loyalty, and honesty towards their textbooks or supplies policy. Other: As a high school senior, I was granted the opportunity for dual-enrollment credit at Harford Community College. I loved this opportunity, as it granted me college and high school credit. While attending classes at HCC, the professors treated me like a college student while offering the guidance needed as I was adjusting to the style of college academics and expectations. Although I had a great experience, I was excluded from many of the resources the college provided. For example, I was unaware of the text messaging system that the school offers, along with many other events that were hosted. Freshman: My experience at Anne Arundel Community College was exceptional. From the start, the staff were very welcoming and helpful along my admission process and throughout my enrollment. It was a smooth application process, and my academic advisor was very transparent with me about everything. I was out of high school for about 5 years at the time when I attended Anne Arundel Community College, which made me feel like I was "behind" and just oblivious to the whole admissions process. Luckily, I was blessed to have chosen Anne Arundel Community College for my higher education. Not one professor, staff member, or student made me feel like my insecurities (as an "older" student) were justified.
