Sophomore: The University of Findlay is a great place to focus on school and make friends. There are very few distractions and it is a great school centered around athletics and since there are a great deal of student athletes many of them are intertwined through their respective sports and therefore have people to aid them in their studies as well. They also have a great staff who are dedicated to helping their students and ensuring a proper education. Not only this, but they are willing and happy to give you advice outside of school as well. Freshman: I am starting my ultrasound tech program in May at the Stautzenberger College Brecksville location, and they could not have been more helpful. All the staff are extremely friendly and easy to reach. They are so warm and welcoming, and value having a personal relationship with each student, which is very valuable to me. My advisor, Anne, has been absolutely awesome in making my enrollment process simple and easy to understand. Junior: The faculty at Otterbein University is amazing. The professors are passionate about teaching students so that they will succeed in whatever feild they go into. Otterbein also has so many opportunities for students to get involved. As a transfer student, finding a group to beling to at school was a little difficult at first. Staff members went out of their way to help me get involved! I came from a predominately online based university, so learning in person is also one of the perks for me. Sophomore: I have had a great experience with Stautzenberger College so far. At first, I was leery about how I would perform in the class room and how my grades may turn out due to not being in school for quite some time but the staff at Stautzenberger are more than willing to help make you feel comfortable and the work was, to my surprise, not as difficult as I had presumed. The instructors are very knowledgeable and thorough about the information being presented and always happy to lend a hand and explain anything that you may not fully understand. Stautzenberger Community College provides an abundance of resources for their students and will also help with job placement. I am very satisfied in my choice of college with Stautzenberger and if I had to start over, I would choose Stautzenberger again. Freshman: My experience with CSCC has been amazing. My professors are great and I’m excited about my future. Online learning is a process initially, but once you get in the swing of things it’s great! I haven’t been in school in about 20 years and so much has changed since graduating in 2020’s I’m so glad that I bet on myself and decided to take the leap of faith and return to school. Alum: My time at Cuyahoga Community College was excellent. I highly recommend this college to everyone. It was my first college to attend and figuring everything out about college was overwhelming but everyone there is so nice and welcoming. The counselors there are very knowledge about the different degrees, majors and universities if you plan on transferring. Getting financial aid was a smooth process because the experts will walk you through each form that needs to be completed. My orientation was informative because of the strong leaders, support of the students, and discussion. We all came together to discuss the next steps into college with playing games to get to know each other, asking important questions and touring around campus. Freshman: My overall experience at Kent State University at Tuscarawas was very good. The only thing I had trouble with was some of the professors I had that made me struggle more in the academic department. I enjoyed being hands on in Biology Lab with my peers and learning more as the days went by. My favorite part about this campus is how they offer the Vet Tech Program. I am in fact now in the program and cannot wait to take on more hands-on experience. The reason for my struggles with the professors are the reasons being that some were really hard to understand while others were very unorganized. A lot of stress came upon many students including me when these professors were giving us what we needed. For example, I had a professor that did not give us the correct material to have before tests due to him generating the tests on a website.
