Other: I took the Vet. Tech program though I did not finish. Anatomy got me twice (practical). I am 64 y/o. It's funny I could answer anything that was asked in class, but I have always choked on tests. Passed all my pre-reques. Algebra, Biology, English, Chemistry. Last math class I had was 9th grade math. I loved all the teachers, Admission Rep. And counselors. Even though they all were babies. My kids (2) are older than any of the teachers I had. Eric And the IT tech were the great (library). They all went out of there way to help me. Wish I could have "hands on" in the Vet clinics. Practicals was my "Achilles Heel" though like I said in class was no problem with correct answers. Any way that was 2017-2019. But I going to go back and take their Sonography and Ultrasound course. Junior: I have been at Foothill for almost three years now and throughout these past years I feel like I am very satisfied with my education here. To begin, the professors show that they care for their students by being flexible to meet with students one on one and they are very big on advocating for diversity within their classrooms. In every class I have taken, the professors make it a point to emphasize the importance of valuing everyone in the class. Most importantly, the professors provide students with the information of almost every resource that is available to us such as tutoring, mental health services , and financial aid resources. What I also really love about the school is the campus. The style of the campus gives me an old town vibe and I completely fell in love with it. There are so many trees and open space so it is possible to study or do homework at the tables that are spread out in the quad. Overall, this school is a good choice to keep in mind!... Freshman: Stanbridge takes pride in making sure that their students succeed and I can agree. Although it is only my first term, all the professors and advisors that I have met have been very helpful. Some improvements that can be made are with parking and technical difficulties. Despite the expansion of the overflow lot across the street, parking is still very difficult to find considering that there are so many cohorts on campus at one time. In my honest opinion, the Edverum website can be improved by being able to see your grades for all your classes on one page. Another thing that should be changed is where we can see all the assignments that are due during the week all on one page too. These two enhancements can help create an efficient workspace for students. On the other hand, I wish the communication was better between the staff and students. Senior: Cal Poly is an amazing school, there is a lot of problems with it when it comes to the size of the campus and the difficulty of the classes. However, I think overall going to CPP has been great and I have become a better person because I went here. Some professors are worse than others but I have met absolutely some of the best professors ever here and even some of them helped me get into the professional career. I think if you go to college seriously and want to really better your life this is a great school. Also the social life in Cal Poly is great too! lots of parties, and good times to be had here if you live on dorms or around the campus! I love it here and I have really grown since going to CPP. Sophomore: Platt is a great college to attend if you have decided on what you plan on doing for the future. There programs are fast paced and easy to understand. FASFA is available to help with education cost. The staff will help you every step of the way. The teachers are super helpful and very understanding. The teachers spend lots of their time slowly teaching us the subject and making sure we understand. There staff is great with any assistance needed and there are many resources in hand. There resources on campus are, a library with computer access to exam studying for free, tutoring, and also able take home a cromebook. I have been here beginning of 2020 and I have no complaints, yes there was times I struggled but I had all the help I needed. Sophomore: I am current attending Platt College for DMS. It is a 18 month program which means it is very fast paced. One think I wish was different is that the program would’ve been longer. It was too much information in such a short time. Everything felt too rushed since we only had 12 months to learn how to scan, ultrasound physics, and pathology.
