Senior: I think a lot of great professors are taken for granted, by faculty and by students (including myself at one point). I had an amazing time with the research opportunity I had, but I think they should talk more about those opportunities because students are left in the dark. I was able to find it because of another student. I applied to the work and study program for 2 consecutive years and they never contacted me. I even went to the library for 2 weeks, almost everyday, because I was trying to get on a list for a job, and they kept telling me to come back later, until the last day when they told me they had just sent the list and I couldn't get on it. I don't think it's a bad university, but just keep in mind the students have to stay on top of things and insist on what they want/need.
