Freshman: Ogeechee Tech College seems like a nice college campus with friendly and helpful staff members. I plan on attending there for this coming Summer semester so i am more than excited for that! The area around the college seems a little depressing and gloomy but hopefully i will like it once i start. The only thing i do not really care for is the layout of the college campus buildings. They have the main campus building almost in the back when you would think it would be at the front of the campus so new students and visitors would be able to easily see it. I am not sure why they have the layout like that. But overall, i think i will have a good experience attending Ogeechee Tech College. Freshman: GNTC Floyd Campus is a great technical college to attend. The tuition is reasonable and they provide so many courses to choose from. They get every student involved with outside activities, too! So far, due to the covid pandemic, I have only been able to do online courses. Sophomore: I started school at Lanier Technical College in the fall of 2019. I was very impressed with the admissions process and registering for classes was very easy! Freshman: I am an incoming transfer student who is excited to work in the film and production industry. I love any school that allows creative freedom, but SCAD is on a whole different level! Every building and dorm is so nicely put together and just pops with color, that is what drew me in as well as the amount of technology available to students advanced cameras for film studios, 2 virtual production LED walls - everyone with an idea will bring it all to life. Junior: I’ve been to southern crescent a few times however this time I’ve had the best experience. I believe that’s because of the revamping and the new staff. The financial aid process was super smooth, counselors are available, and each of my professors communication has been beyond excellent. The organization and growth of the school/ campus over all has been amazing to watch. They host events and activities for the students that keep us engaged and the time frame in which they inform us is perfect! we know things at least a week or 2 maybe even a month in advance and the event dates are always sent via email with reminders. My favorite thing thus far is the final grade posting.!! The past few semesters the grades have gone in immediately there’s no more than 2days max wait for final grades! All students know the anxiety of final grade postings so 2 days wait is great . If you are interested in starting a new career apply for SCTC it’s worth it, Fall is around the corner!... Other: The best school ever. I was there to learn VESL but it helped me lot. Their books are amazing and full of interesting words and lessons, especially the academic words that I needed to go to University.
