Sophomore: One of the first things that drew me to TCC was its size. The classes are smaller, averaging around 30 students. It's much more personal than a university and it's made finding a community and accessing help much easier for me. My development of relationships with my professors has also gotten much better. They actually have time to meet with and counsel me instead of being swamped with 100 students a class. It's amazing. A few things I would like to see change include the upkeep of the campus. It's a bit dated. It almost feels like a time capsule back into the 90s which might be nice for some. However, they have started some excellent renovations in one of the student halls next to the bookstore which is promising. It would also be nice if the Financial and Cashiers offices showed more hospitality and kindness to their students. Attitudes there can often be bland and unconcerned.
