Junior: NDSU is a great campus because it's not too big, but it's also not too small. It feels like the perfect size. I also think the campus is beautiful in terms of its scenery and architecture. There are some beautiful old buildings that have been kept in good condition without being totally refurbished. The professors at this school are amazing as well. They really seem to care about each student's success and they are actually quite informal a lot of times. I've had several professors whom I know on a first-name basis. Freshman: So far though I have only been here minimally, a month and a half, my experience has been decent. My classes and professors are excellent and I have only had a few problems with the books store which professors have been understanding of. Professors are understanding and will listen if you have a valid issue that requires accommodations. My largest issue has been the lack of standardization amongst facilities. The older facilities are crumbling apart and unsafe, while the newer buildings are fantastic. This is specifically true with the residence halls. Some of the halls are desirable and excellent quality while others are unsafe. The difference is students must pay more for quality which is unfair. Students who come from lower-income families and situations shouldn't be forced to live in less satisfactory conditions. Otherwise, I have been enjoying myself. Junior: I love the close knit experiences that the university provides everyday. Teachers care about their students and will provide one on one instruction of needed. Games and actives are hosted all around campus pretty often and gets students to build relationships with each-other and earn chances at prizes. Media is posted often to keep students in the loop and attending events. It also gives something for the public to follow too if there are athletics to attend. Being in a sports team, my teachers are very receptive to meets and dates that I am not able to attend class. Every class is recorded and able to be accessed even after class is over. It makes it nice if you have to go back and take notes or if you are on the road. Our president makes him self present at every event I’ve seen and is a big supporter of the students here.
