Sophomore: I like Colorado College, and the block plan and small size really intrigued me into coming here, even though I'm not a native Coloradan. It's definitely a great location if you love the outdoors. Those are the main reasons I chose this school. I quickly learned that I could fit in here! However, from being here for two months, I have noticed some of the struggles the area and the school has, including housing and crime. Many cities have these issues, but CC in the Greater Colorado Springs area has tried to fix them to a degree, but there's clearly still work to be done... Not to be too pessimistic, however, I will say though that I've met many really nice people on CC's campus, especially the students, although I do tend to see the liberal and privileged side of things in a simple classroom environment often. I would say for this school to truly be diverse as they say, CC needs more diverse viewpoints as a whole. For now, CC has an amazing mathematics department, and that's my major.... Read 791 reviews

There are various fields and areas of studies to choose from and passionate professors and advisors that will excel at guiding you towards the right direction of your education and fundamentally, career path. I got my undergrad degree and now pursuing my graduate degree from the same campus. I feel like I have emotionally, physically, critically and most importantly, professionally grown with the university and utilized the many resources that come with the experience. Junior: UNCO is an excellent school with a strong sense of community. Students are friendly with each other, there are ample clubs and groups to join on campus, and many of the professors are happy to work with students individually and provide resources and help. There are many dorm halls so students won't have to worry about being unable to find housing. The dining hall food is average at best, but luckily there are other dining options such as Einstein's Bagels, Subway, Starbucks, and more being constructed. The campus is walkable too, with lots of green areas and even a frisbee golf course. Sophomore: University of Denver offers a rigorous academic, athletic and extra-curricular experience. At first, I had some qualms with my experience, given most of my classes were mandatorily taken online, however, when the institution allowed for resumed regular procedures and operations, my performance as an overall student enhanced as did the experience of all learners wholesale. Integration of the fundamental collegiate activities upon resuming to a fixed "open clearance" level unfolded in the favor of most of the students, and it left a lasting impression. University of Denver has a social or extra-curricular outlet suited to all enrollment, and anyone who tells you otherwise, either isn't a student or is referring to the exception of students 'at' Universities across the board from the years 2020-2021 and part of 2022. Other: Overall, it's a great, secure, and fantastic place to have fun and relax with friends. There is plenty of security in the neighborhood performing sweeps, especially at night, and everyone is friendly. CU Boulder is diverse, in my opinion! There are several communities on campus, as well as numerous clubs and organizations to join. I appreciated how engaged the campus was with its students. It provided several activities and groups for all students, as well as resources and opportunities. I really enjoyed how environmentally friendly the campus was and how much it advertised. This, I believe, is critical so that future generations can have the same experiences. Senior: This a great university! Students and staff are friendly. Transportation for off-campus living is great! There is paid parking if you choose to commute and if not, then there is public transportation that has routes all over the city. Tuition can be expensive. Financial aid helps greatly but I wish it was a little less to broaden the students that can attend. Overall, there are great resources for anything you're looking for help on: tutoring, medical treatment, financial assistance, etc. Classes can be large so professors may not be as personal with each student but they are helpful if you visit during office hours.... Freshman: I took a huge risk traveling from Las Vegas to be admitted into MSU, and I am so glad I attend this university! I’ve enjoyed it so far, and have met some lovely people. I enjoy the resources the university offers and take full advantage of it as well, such as tutoring, the health center, and the gym! A change that would be greatly appreciated by myself and many of my peers is regards to the FAFSA. I have tried to take advantage of the resources but in the grand scope of things, I still have a difficult time being able to pay my tuition since I am an out of state student. I deeply feel if there were more opportunities for students like me to have a guideline or plan to be able to pay tuition confidently. Alum: This is a fantastic community college! Classes are very affordable compared to larger colleges, and if you don't have the funds to pay for tuition at the beginning of the semester, the Financial Aid office will help you find a solution. Furthermore, RRCC offers a wide variety of online, in-person, or hybrid classes to suit your schedule, and most of them are guaranteed to transfer to other colleges in Colorado. The professors are very supportive and want you to succeed with your academic goals. Plus, I prefer the small class sizes here over the larger, more intimidating classes at state universities. Also, it has great facilities and resources including a brand new student rec center, an IDEA lab to introduce students to engineering, the Arvada campus dedicated to the health sciences, a bookstore, and a coffee shop. Alum: Adams State University is my home! My college experience couldn't have been better. From the university's small class sizes to its beautiful mountain location, Adams has so much to offer its students. The professors really take an interest in student success. I had the opportunity to partake in internships/work-study, class field trips, and extra-curricular activities every semester. There is always an opportunity for tutoring as well. Since the class sizes are small, you can always drop by your professor's office hours for extra assistance. The small-town feel really adds to the university's charm. Graduate Student: I have been a student of the CCA since January 2021 up until Summer of 2023 when I completed my associates of science degree. I still have ambition to continue my education at the establishment as a graduate student since I am only a senior in high school who has been able to use the dual enrollment system to its full potential. The college has a wide variety of courses to choose from with many also being available online for convenience. CentreTech Campus offers you many useful resources while Lowry Campus contains locations specialized for certain types of education such as medicine or photography. The college also has a very diverse culture which makes social bonding an essential aspect of the experience. The professors have a good understanding of the concepts they teach and will support you in case you are struggling with course material.
