Senior: The atmosphere is incredible, there are so many amazing people here. If you’re coming for anything fitness related (phys ed, fit dev, ex sci) you’ve definitely found the right place. The campus is a big home to opportunities. Only thing is that the parking at the top of the hill is atrocious… but if you’re a junior or senior (or living on campus) you should have no problems as you’ll probably be at the lower end of campus or walking everywhere. Alum: I graduated here in 2018. I met one of my best friends there. The classes are small, the library has what you need. The food was great, I thought. There was more campus life than it seems, you just have to look for it. The campus is beautiful, and the dorms were great, since they renovated them while I was there. If you like small classes, they are great, and the professors are really helpful. If you have learning and/or physical disabilities like me then they have a great program for that! They have two gyms, (one for sports and the other for regular exercise) and they are both great. They have two chapels and a cemetery for the nuns that used to run the college. Freshman: I am enjoying Medaille college (Medaille University) I just finished my first semester and I really enjoyed all my classes and I live on campus and i also enjoy the dorm room. you are assigned 1 roommate and you sleep in the same room with different beds and the only other room is a bathroom but the room is decently big so we get by. Freshman: After finishing my first year as a freshman, I'd say that St. John's University is a top level amazing school. The environment of campus is perfect, you have a wide open great lawn surrounded by buildings of all varieties. HUGE diversity, you get to meet people from all over the country! Even though St. John's is a catholic school, they have a church is for all religions. Residence Halls are set in a village like area, all having different names and surrounding locations like the Montigoris Dining Hall and Public Safety. Dorms in the residence halls have their own setup, whether it's a suite or traditional, double room or single room. Speaking of Public Safety, I feel safe being on campus. They have guards at each gate and are on the scene if something goes down. Food at the dining hall is amazing, they have a different varieties of food, such like Grill and Hibachi. Works Here: Paul Smith's College is a great and unique campus! The only four year college in the Adirondacks. It's amazing that the campus is situated on 14,000 acres and a lake! Junior: Hello! My name is Cesia Arzu and I am a junior at SUNY Plattsburgh. This is a great college for those who want to be far from the city but want to still be in the state. This college is great overall regarding diversity, faculty, and students. My favorite part about attending Plattsburgh would be the clubs that we have and the events. The events are true to the students and are a way to connect and make new friends. One event that I absolutely loved was the Black Solidarity event that we had, there were food and conferences about the black and brown culture that you barely hear about. It was a great educational experience for those of color and those who just wanted to learn more about black and brown cultures.
