Alum: What I liked about the University of Nebraska at Kearney is the small town feel it had in a growing relatively bigger city. Kearney had so much to offer for college students. From the Athletics, to the spacious campus, as well as the endless restaurants and beautiful Nebraska scenery in the surrounding areas. It is conveniently located right off the interstate, so it is easily accessible. As far as the curriculum, it is hands down the best bang for your buck for a University. It is part of the University of Nebraska system, so all of the professors are top tier and extremely knowledgeable. I had the experience of being on campus half of my time at UNK, and then remote for my last year at UNK.
