Senior: My experience here is second to none. I have gone to quite a few colleges and this is the first one where I felt I was more than a number. There are plenty of resources on campus from mental health, physical health, and academic. There are more than just the professors having a hand in the students’ academic success. There was a time where one of my mind-term grades were low and I received a email from student success wanting to set up a meeting to discuss how we can get the grade up and the tools that I have available to me. Although it was due to a professor forgetting to put in a grade, it meant a lot to know that everyone cares. Freshman: There are a lot of things that I like about Rockhurst, and one of them is the student to teacher ratio. Rockhurst has a 14:1 student ratio and it makes it really easy to get connected with your professors and makes the learning experiences better. Rockhurst also has great student resources to help everyone succeed in college. They have everything from student counselling to peer coaches and advisors to help you succeed in all of your classes. Rockhurst also police on campus and nearby to make sure you feel safe at all time. Another thing I like about the campus is how beautiful it is, with the cool buildings, clocktower, and flowers everywhere around campus. Junior: I love Park University! The campus is in the best location in all of Arizona (in my opinion) and I have yet to have a professor who is not invested in the success of their students. I am a student-athlete and Park University has made it possible for me to continue in both my sport and academic careers. I would love to see the school (the Arizona campus) grow a lot more and become more well-known. Senior: My experience at MidAmerica has been rocky. The usual ups and downs as a student, however there are many great things about this university. I enjoy the sense of community at the school, it can be slightly overwhelming due to the school's population. As for things I would love to see change is the finances for future students, for my years the school's price has constantly increased. Sophomore: My experience at Donnelly had been life-changing. I never thought that a small college could make me feel at home and more connected to my community compared to my large high school. Here I feel seen and validated. For once, I felt as though I had a voice and my opinions were valuable. I had seen so much growth in my own character. I have grown into the leader and extrovert I am today thanks to Donnelly. I am now the Study Abroad President and Student Senate Vice-President, leadership positions I didn't know I was capable of. I now want to impact my community because of the love poured into me. Donnelly helped me dream again. Now, my dream is to become a professor.
