Freshman: My experience at Bowling Green State University has been nothing short of amazing! The atmosphere on campus is just radiant and I could not see myself at any other campus. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, and all the staff just want you to succeed. The right-knit community just makes this university home. Students on campus, like myself, just have the best time! The only complaint I have heard comes from a commuter friend of mine who doesn’t feel that connection as strongly as I do. That is the only thing I would change about this college. Freshman: I have loved my time at UT thus far! I live in one of the dorms on campus and the amenities and proximity to everything is wonderful. Toledo gives the big school feel on a small campus and it's so easy to get around the campus to and from my classes. Sophomore: I would recommend Lourdes to anyone who is looking to get the feel of a big university, but still desires a smaller campus. Professors and advisors work hard to make sure that you succeed as a student. The small classes make it easy to connect with classmates, work one on one with professors, and feel valued as a student. The feeling of community that this univeristy has can not be matched. I have made life long friends and connected with so many new people. Alum: After graduating from a community college I was really nervous to start a new school. I have to say I quickly fell in love with Mercy! It’s small, easy to get around and just all around so good. They really go above and beyond for the students. From petting farms brought to the school to destress for finals, catered Panera snacks, free zoo tickets, chic-fil-a dinners etc. They just went that extra mile. The staff is really great and they really have put so much into the building itself. It is expensive, please apply for all scholarships as I was awarded a few large ones! Don’t let that hold you back! If I would have kept trying to get into my community college nursing program I would still be waiting! That would have been wages lost so it equals out! Mercy is VERY easy to get into because it’s a private college! I wasted years at my community college on a degree that did nothing for me while waiting to get into the nursing program!
