Graduate Student: The professors want to see you succeed in and out of the classroom setting, which can make their classes challenging but rewarding. They are quick to respond to your questions and are very understanding when you are going through something. The dining hall has gotten much better and I enjoy meeting there for lunch. The downtown area is across the street and is so fun with the farmers market, live music, and cute shops! Freshman: I have found my time at GGC so far to be very inspiring for my years to come, I am already excited about the classes I am going to take next semester and the next 3 years. Junior: I’ve been to southern crescent a few times however this time I’ve had the best experience. I believe that’s because of the revamping and the new staff. The financial aid process was super smooth, counselors are available, and each of my professors communication has been beyond excellent. The organization and growth of the school/ campus over all has been amazing to watch. They host events and activities for the students that keep us engaged and the time frame in which they inform us is perfect! we know things at least a week or 2 maybe even a month in advance and the event dates are always sent via email with reminders. My favorite thing thus far is the final grade posting.!! The past few semesters the grades have gone in immediately there’s no more than 2days max wait for final grades! All students know the anxiety of final grade postings so 2 days wait is great . If you are interested in starting a new career apply for SCTC it’s worth it, Fall is around the corner!...
