Junior: I transferred to Delgado from a bigger four-year college and realized that I wish I would've came to Delgado sooner. Delgado is a better fit for me because I can go to school and do online classes all while still being able to live at home and work for my money. The professors really want you to learn and succeed. The only thing that I would change would be making it easier to get in touch quickly with the faculty at the school. Not many answer emails or phone calls until days after, which I wish wasn't the case in times of stress dealing with scheduling and financial aid. Freshman: I feel like this is a good opportunity to go back to College at Central Louisiana College. I am in interested in the H-vac and refrigeration degree. The professor seems to be knowledgeable and nice. This is a Technical degree which can help me get a good paying job after I graduate and it's hands on and not just not all classroom. I will be able to live at home, work part time and still pursue this degree with out the added price of living on a campus. Hopefully this degree will open up endless job opportunities not only within my state of Louisiana but also, out of state jobs if I wish. I like the idea of being able to go to a Technical college without the big college price. For the town of Alexandria there isn't alot to offer as far as job opportunities with out some sort of degree. I want to be able to work part time in the H-vac while I attend school. Freshman: The teachers at remington college shreveport really takes there time to get to know the students. With me personally my teacher takes time out of her day to send me words of encouragement and some days that is exactly what I need someone to reach out and let me know they care about my well being and my future it gives me the strength to keep pushing ahead and to not give up. College Junior: When I first came to Remigton College in Lafayette it was over whelming. The program that I was looking for they had so I end up changing schools. So far I've had the best semeters here at my school. My grades are so awesome I've recieved the Dean's list and perfect attendence certificate not once but twice and im still going at it.
