Freshman: Right now I'm studying through the Automotive Program that SLCCtech provides. First of all, the amount I was charged with is way cheaper than I imagined plus it lasts for 9 months!? I'm really glad I went through SLCC first, rather than starting off at UVU or Weber, because it will definitely save me a lot of money! Second, SLCC has so many opportunities and resources to let their students succeed and thrive! You just have to look in the right places, I guess haha. Or of course,you can ask your advisor about them! My current professor has mentioned there was a scholarship that will help pay for rent and if SLCC could get any cooler, it just did. I feel like there's only one "bad thing" about SLCC which is, I wish they had dorms. It'd be so much nicer for people who live so far away from their campuses. Anyways, all good reviews for SLCC from me, I like it so much here that I honestly want to go to SLCC for other classes just for fun. Even if it doesn't pertain to my career/degree.... Graduate Student: The Medical Billing and Coding program was a thorough course of actual practical skills. I really thought that the course has prepared me for job placement. Some of the course work, Like ICD 9, I found redundant. They have,however managed to updated the curriculum since then. The only reason I feel like I could not give it 5 stars is that the program has had staffing issues as of late. Freshman: I love going here. I’m studying cosmetology and feel that I am getting a great education.
