Freshman: I really liked that there were lots of resources available like information centers, student government, reading and writing centers, the library, academic advisors, counselors, counceling therapy, and much more! I wouldn't change anything about this college because everybody on campus (as far as I know) are very helpful and there are tons and tons of resources available to everyone. This is also my first year here at this college so I can't really say what should be changed or not simply because I am still new to this campus and still getting used to everything on the campus. All I can say is that this is a great place to start if you are looking to transferring to another college after 2 years or if you simply just want to take classes to freshen up your skills for your job. This college has welcoming arms for everybody from every culture. They support everyone and believe that everybody's experience is equally important. Alum: This wonderful school was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a place to learn a trade and move forward in my life with a career I was proud of. I thought I couldn’t afford to go back to school or get approved for student loans but I kept doing my research. Then I found Northwest Career College! Sophomore: Overall, the staff and professors are extremely helpful and accommodating. The staff to student ratio is perfect, and the material being taught is not too much at once. The environment is one where everyone wants to see you succeed. My only complaint would be how the Las Vegas campus is a little more run down than others. Freshman: Nevada Career Institute is a great college and am happy to be a student here. The staff is extremely helpful and genuinely care about every student. The instructors are knowledgeable, have experience in their respective fields, and go above and beyond for their students. My instructor, Ms. Jennifer Holecek, is probably the best instructor i have ever had because of her patience, knowledge, encouragement, and integrity. I am confident that when i graduate, I will be very prepared to gain employment in the Medical Billing and Coding industry and at any business.
