Senior: I have enjoyed my time here at the University of Wyoming. I have changed my major several times and each time I was greeted with helpful advisors who wanted to make sure I knew what I was doing and were there to help me. I found my place quickly after joining the marching band and I am proud to now lead that band in my final year. The classes have not been that difficult and whenever I have needed help, the tutors and professors are very helpful and understanding. Every professor has office hours which is really nice for getting help. There are tons of different clubs on campus and I've been a part of a lot of them. I highly recommend trying out the Cowboy Country Swing Club. It is a great way to meet people and dancing is a lot of fun! I also recommend taking advantage of the different resources on campus. There are counselors, wellness center, gym, massage chairs, tutors and more that is only available to students so I cannot recommend taking advantage of them enough.... Read 2,019 reviews

Sophomore: The staff and faculty at Casper College are excellent! The professors that I have had the pleasure of learning from have all strived to give me the best education, and cared that I was successful in their courses. The staff have all been very helpful when I had questions about class courses, financial aid, registering for courses, and continuing my education beyond CC to a University. Casper College personally assigned me to an advisor who had specialty in the career path that I am taking. It was helpful to communicate with the same individual each time to ensure that there was no confusion, and that I am doing what is best for my future. Senior: LCCC is a wonderful college. They strive to make it an easy transition for all kinds of students attending the college. They offer many scholarship and grant opportunities for their students and residents of Wyoming. They offer affordable courses and many resources for students. The cafeteria is also affordable and serves incredible food! The school is very active and encourages students to participate in clubs that create incredible opportunities for the students. My program is very competitive but still offers support by its instructors and opportunities to study and improve your skills. The college also requires all students to take annual trainings for peer pressure, safety, sobriety, and more which I feel is very beneficial and helps students learn about resources if needed. Sophomore: I'm going into my second year of studying here as an Art Major so let me I've had a full year of experience here already and let me tell you, that the place has it's ups and downs. First the positives: small enough campus so I won't get overwhelmed with buildings to memorize, fantastic staff, very inclusive for everyone, fun clubs to join, great events that happen on campus, and awesome choice of rooms to hangout in if you don't want to stay in your dorm. Now the negatives: the first year dorms seem to have some problems when it comes to maintence, the blackouts that happen (which they tell us that will happen so they aren't random at least), food variety isn't a lot, and finally the jobs on campus don't have great pay so it's hard to get money there with the little amount they give you. Freshman: As a first time student, they’ve been helpful in the process of registration and answering any questions I had. My student success coach has been great. She’s explained things to me well and has been very supportive. As for other departments, they seem to be behind and short staffed. There’s been a few hiccups in registration due to other departments but got resolved thanks to my advisor. Niche User: Eastern Wyoming College has advisors that have your best interest at heart, and they will try to be as accommodating as possible. The college has a small classroom size which makes it easier for your voice to be heard when you are struggling. They offer surveys so the teachers will anonymously receive feedback on their teaching. In addition to this, in online classes a teacher will offer class discussions when warranted to help people learn. The college offers fun community classes and clubs you can get involved in. Overall, I really enjoy my time at Eastern Wyoming College. Despite Eastern Wyoming College be a good option for future college students, I have a one reoccurring issue as a student. One thing that I struggle with is the navigation of the college's website. When I am trying to figure out what courses are available and what scholarships I can apply for in my area it is hard to figure out where I need to go.
