Graduate Student: I had a great experience here. They help you every step of the way, from application to financial aid to study to completion. I took the entire Masters courses in English and they were very helpful throughout the entire process. The work is hard, that is true. I gave up pretty much every weekend in order to fulfill the requirements but I do not regret it one bit. The only con is getting in contact with them is not always easy. Sophomore: First of all, what i liked the most is the empathy the professors have towards the students. They also try their best to encourage and help their students in their academic journey. For instance, i'm a french major, and thanks to my french professor i was able to study a semester abroad in Canada. I can say my professors were the ones who motivated me into taking that step out of my comfort zone. They also helped me with the necessary documents like for example, recommendation letters. Senior: I think a lot of great professors are taken for granted, by faculty and by students (including myself at one point). I had an amazing time with the research opportunity I had, but I think they should talk more about those opportunities because students are left in the dark. I was able to find it because of another student. I applied to the work and study program for 2 consecutive years and they never contacted me. I even went to the library for 2 weeks, almost everyday, because I was trying to get on a list for a job, and they kept telling me to come back later, until the last day when they told me they had just sent the list and I couldn't get on it. I don't think it's a bad university, but just keep in mind the students have to stay on top of things and insist on what they want/need. Junior: The amazing campus, my college students, the opportunity of students associations such as Asociación Círculo Literario Revolución Expresiva, all of my professors, the opportunities to apply for study abroad and internships, the multiple bachelors degrees anyone can apply is what I love most. I need to highlight that anyone can apply for a second mayor or minor which it is very convenient. On another hand, I suggest more transparency of the money administration. Freshman: I always wanted to study at this university since I was told that in the nursing field they were well prepared. The moment I visited the campus and the nursing department I loved it, it was well prepared and equipped to learn and leave as a professional. From the first day I went for orientation the process was easy and fairly quick. I had to wait a bit for my transcript since I had completed an associate's degree at another institution, but as soon as it arrived they worked through all my admissions via email very quickly. The professors look like they know what they are teaching, they are generally helpful to the student as well as the university itself has different methods to help the student. Graduate Student: After been away from college for twenty five years I decided to enrolled at EDP university for my bachelor's degree in science. Previously, I had an associate degree in nursing at Greater Hartford community college. My experience at EDP college was an exciting, nervous raky and the best experience I had in my life time. The professors were very professional and helpful. They were always willing to guide me in the areas that I needed assistance. The student population were also very friendly a cooperative with other classe members. In the aspect of technology the University provided assistance and guidance in class assignments which at the beginning of my studies I needed desperately. By having this support I was able to graduate with an average grade of 3.6. I am very proud to say that I graduated from one of the best colleges in Puerto Rico.
