Senior: Rivier University is great if you want small class sizes and a small campus environment and community. All of my classes have been less than 30 students, and most were 15 or less. As a part of the biotechnology program, I have reaped the benefits of a brand-new science building and lab spaces. There is also a brand-new business and nursing building opening in fall 2022 as well as new dorms being added to campus. If you want a school with small class sizes where you know everyone who lives in your hallway and seeing friendly faces every time you walk to class, Riv is for you! Freshman: From the moment I first stepped on the college grounds, I felt welcomed and at home. I I knew I had picked the right College. As I walked around the campus with the tour guide, I truly could picture myself being a student here at Saint Anselm. What I loved most was the myriad of places where I could relax, study and socialize outside of my dorm. Also, it felt like I was in my home with all the awesome Christmas decorations! Senior: I love the on campus restaurants, bars, and snack shops! The scenery is beautiful all year round and the campus is always beautiful! Graduate Student: This is the review I wish I saw! CSC is a good school. The academics are rigorous, and the professors truly care about the students. The business faculty are great and prepare students for the real world. I made great friends and had lots of fun during my time. I liked it enough I'm coming back for my MBA. The problem is funding only goes to the nursing program. The school also doesn't allow off campus housing but does have a few on-campus houses where students attempt to throw parties, but they are always quickly shut down by campus safety unless the houses come up with elaborate plans to hide the party from the outside which they do very well. The school also does not allocate funds to the club hockey and rugby team which is causing the programs to die out. Overall CSC is what you make of it and the people on campus are great but drama does go around fast! But dorms are lacking and don't expect a large party school because CSC isn't that. Sophomore: I really love Plymouth State University, it truly is a home away from home! I met many great people and new lifelong friends, especially my amazing roommate! I was initially very nervous about going to a new place, especially a college, but living on campus is a fantastic experience. One I'll truly never forget, there are many great activities to participate in such as the hammocking club. SOAR (outdoor activities), PSU gaming club, intermural sports, Esports, and so much more! Not to mention their fitness facilities are state of the art along with a robotics lab is getting put in! Plymouth State truly is a fantastic place, especially within the Criminal Justice and Forensic. The only thing that would be nice to change is the parking situation since Plymouth is remote, parking is very difficult at times. Sophomore: I transferred to KSC from another NH public college and have enjoyed Keene so much more. The people are so friendly, it's easy to get involved on campus, everyone is extremely welcoming and the community here is incredible. Campus is gorgeous especially in the spring and they just announced a ton of new renovations coming for next fall. The dorms are pretty average but some are really nice (Butler, LLC). I've enjoyed all the classes I've taken and met some great profs. The only bad thing I think is the food but there are options at Lloyd's and the Hoot and Scoot that are better and overall a good variety if you don't like the dining commons food. Junior: The best part about FPU, for sure, is the community. Everyone on campus is welcoming, loving, and personable. The support and positivity that run through campus are unmatchable. Another great aspect is the classroom. The class sizes are reasonably small which allows students to create a professional relationship with their professors. All the professors care about the well-being of their students and are deeply invested in quality education. Campus food might not be the selling point, but the people who make and serve it definitely are! Many of our staff also create bonds with students, such as the dining hall staff. Some of them even go as far as joining sports events to cheer on students or catch lunch with them at our local diner. Dorming is better than the food but not as good as some state schools I've seen. Sophomore: The adminissions department made the process so easy for me. They actually reached out on my behalf to a community college I attended that I couldn't even get ahold of to transfer any credits. Because of my military background, they also informed me I was sitting on credits I had no idea I even had! My advisor calls me every other week to see how I am doing. If you're not the best with technology, I could see why it could be frustrating pursuing a degree online. Their interface has improved a lot in the last year, also. All my instructors so far have been accessible, sometimes things get lost in translation with teachers via e-mail, but that seems typical of any work/school situation.
