Freshman: So far it's been great! The staff is absolutely amazing and they are extremely helpful. The campus is also great and has many resources, fun activities, dining options ranging from pizza hut and even on campus Starbucks, and study areas. There are also a large selection of classes to take as well as clubs and activities. Pittstate offers flat rate tuition for all courses. One of my personal interests are their exchange peograms that assist you every step of the way to make it possible! Alum: FHSU has a special place in my heart. I love the faculty, the learning environment, and the variety of assignments given to me. Junior: I enjoyed the college, it has a great environment with great teachers who will work with you if you are honest and open with them. I was terribly sick one semester and my teacher went out of his way to make sure I knew I was not gonna fail and that he'd catch me up if need be. He studied for hours after class with me, and I did end up passing! The counselors are wonderful people, very fun to stop and chit chat with when you're feeling bored of class. The library is a wonderful place to study, and make new study buddy partners, and the kitchen has absolutely amazing food, you've got to try it. Alum: I cannot speak highly enough about WSU Tech. I met all my favorite teachers there in the Information Technology program. Great opportunities for students including those in high school. You can start college programs through WSU Tech as early as your Sophomore year in high school. I started my Sophomore year and graduated from the IT program my Senior year. WSU Tech offers amazing classes and programs in Aviation, Healthcare, Construction, Manufacturing, Information Technology, and everything in between across its two campuses. Freshman: Wichita State University is a great start for someone who is looking for a college and lives around the Wichita area. I grew up in Wichita and have always had a hard time fitting in. But at Wichita State University, I feel like there are many places where I could connect with others who share similar interests. I plan to finish my degree with Wichita State University and look for more opportunities that are made easily accessible by the university. However, my problem with WSU is the surrounding area and it does not have many sports. WSU feels limited in the freedom of students because Wichita surrounds it. This makes it harder to experience "college life", especially when I have grown up here. Also, I know there are complications with sports here, but I believe that we can bring back an amazing football and basketball team that can compete in college sports leagues. Freshman: My experience in Garden City Community College has been great. I love the teachers and the program they have here. They take care of you and talk to make sure you are not struggling. This school has so much to provide to student who don't have a lot of money to afford going to college. They help you find scholarships or help with financial aid. I cannot wait to start the nursing program next year, hopefully I can get in. This college has shown so much support to students from out of the country. Graduate Student: I think the social aspect of Cowley is amazing, and executed almost perfectly. Cowley is only a community college and not as big as other colleges, and definitely not as big as universities around it. BUT I will say that given that it is a smaller school, Cowley treats its students lavishly. Sophomore: Ive been a student at Barton County Community College on and off for the past handful of years, and am currently a full time student in the Paramedic Program. BCCC has always being incredibly accommodating to me as a student. Particularly, the financial aid department has gone above and beyond to help me make sure everything financial is in order. Especially notable is one of the financial aid ladies bending over backwards, when I lost track of a particular scholarship, in order to make sure I had the help and coverage I needed. Sophomore: My first year at Butler was amazing! I met two of my bestest friends on only the first day of school! The teachers are also great. My public speaking class, which I was nervous for, turned out to be my favorite class of my whole first year! My biology professor made everything easy to understand and related the topics to our lives so we would better understand. I was also lucky enough to have the same teacher for two different classes which was really helpful since I already knew how she ran everything.
