Junior: When I toured the UofA I immediately fell in love with the campus because it reminded me of hallmark movies, therefore, it felt like a warm and welcoming place. I loved every minute, and I truly made the best decision to attend. I decided to go through the recruitment process, where I rushed ZETA. I have always been someone who is very involved and wants to be a leader in the community. Thus, this led me to be on our sisterhood committee and I now serve on our 2023 recruitment team. The sole reason I loved Arkansas was how amazing their nursing program was. That being said, it is extremely competitive. I am an individual who is hardworking, passionate and determined. I set goals and I work very hard to achieve them. However, despite maintaining a 4.0 with challenging courses like Ethics, Anatomy, and Physiology, I was not admitted into the nursing program. Freshman: I'm a first time student here at U.A.H.T and I'm loving everything about it. The people here are very caring and help you with all your questions, they give you resources to people to help with whatever situation you may be having trouble with. Here at The University of Arkansas Hope Campus "they have lots of activity's for the students to have fun and be a part of a community with positive peers. Also here at U.A.H.T they have many groups to be apart of a positive influence in the local community's. The only thing I would say would be great to have here would be a student lounge and a place for after school activity's such as sports. The main reason I feel the need for such is for students like me who rides with a friend who is also a student. I get done with my last class at 2:45 and wait around here at the school until he gets out at 6:00 cause he is my only way home. Sophomore: Northwest Arkansas Community College is a small campus with no dorms or rooms but is very close to the local area. Fortunately, the environment is great and quiet for studying such as the Student Center. Not only that but the tuition is very cheap compared to other universities and colleges and the professors are well prepared and actively help the students understand the content. The transition from online to in-person was also smooth and the staff and faculty were very helpful and informative, providing plenty of resources and support. NWACC has various programs and organizations such as F1RSTS and the LIFE program. F1RSTS is about supporting and teaching first-generation college students, while LIFE is about promoting success during and after enrollment and celebrating culture and bringing the community together.
