Freshman: I love my experience at Xavier, even as a freshman everyone is so kind and welcoming. It is a tinier undergrad number but the campus is spacious. With there not being that many undergrads it is easier to know so many people on campus and makes it easy to have small class sizes. Many classes are between 20-30 students. They also put on many student activities so students have chances to get out and meet people. Every student has three different advisors to help with academic, life, and jobs. You are set up with a constant support system to make sure you have everything you need to succeed. It is such a positive environment and has been such an easy transition. It is a great school!... Freshman: I am currently enrolled in gateway community and technical college for an online computer programming course. Freshman: Hi, I’m Mi’Kela and I’m an upcoming college freshmen. During my orientation, it was informative and diversified. My orientation was informative because of the strong leaders, support of the students, and discussion. We all came together to discuss the next steps into college with playing games to get to know each other, asking important questions and touring around campus. The strong faces of UC showed me why I wanted to attend there. The leaders were passionate, caring, supportive, attentive and more people should be like them. Senior: This school is a truly transformative experience! It's affiliated with the Roman Catholic church, but the student body and amazing faculty are very diverse and stimulating. Everything about the culture of this school serves the spirit of the liberal arts tradition, and it shows. What makes it really great is how small and locally-grounded it is. TMU has a great reputation for quality education regionally, and the institutional ties to the community are very strong. The community on campus is thriving and intimate (2K-2.5K Student Pop.) with a lot of very different groups and involvements. I'm proud to be graduating from TMU and would recommend it to any student wanting a strong education. This goes doubly for the science majors, who will get hard-to-find relationships with faculty and copious opportunities for research opportunities (e.g. the fantastic Biological Field Station right on the Ohio River sponsors students in freshwater ecology research and education projects).... Other: Clermont College is a great option for anyone looking to take basic college classes. The class sizes are small and the professors know their students by name. Because of the small size of the school, most students study and hang out in the same areas and become familiar with each other. All the students and friendly and the professors really care about each of their students. The cafeteria food isn't great, but that's not a big deal since all the students commute. All the classes at Clermont College use the same technology that the rest of the University of Cincinnati uses, so the college's learning management system is high quality and easy to use. The biggest downsides to Clermont College include the lack of extracurricular activities, the lack of specialized classes and degree programs, and the lack of prestige and course rigor.... Freshman: Very reasonable and Flexible for adults wanting to continue or pursue further in Nursing. I would recommend every interested person to this program to attend this school. Staff is very pleasant, always timely on responses, knowledgeable in their trained areas. Resources and payment arrangements are fair if no financial assistance available. Books are furnished as a packet and offered purchase laptops for students. I know a student from previous graduation, that had her books available for me to use. I even received her laptop that she got through ATA college. I appreciate that they do not change up their books as frequently as other schools. This was a big help for a returning student. I am currently waiting on decision for dress code for clinical and lab courses. I am anxious to complete this program successfully. I will sit at NCLEX and pass on the first try.
