Sophomore: First of all, what i liked the most is the empathy the professors have towards the students. They also try their best to encourage and help their students in their academic journey. For instance, i'm a french major, and thanks to my french professor i was able to study a semester abroad in Canada. I can say my professors were the ones who motivated me into taking that step out of my comfort zone. They also helped me with the necessary documents like for example, recommendation letters. Alum: The campus life at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus was very lively and encouraged all students to take part in extracurricular activities that enhance their general knowledge but also contribute to the community. The classes themselves offered a good blend of practical and theoretical information. They were challenging, but the professors were well prepared to answer any doubts that the students may have on their classes. Junior: The amazing campus, my college students, the opportunity of students associations such as Asociación Círculo Literario Revolución Expresiva, all of my professors, the opportunities to apply for study abroad and internships, the multiple bachelors degrees anyone can apply is what I love most. I need to highlight that anyone can apply for a second mayor or minor which it is very convenient. On another hand, I suggest more transparency of the money administration. Sophomore: From my experience as a student at this institution, it's an excellent place to study. The campus is filled with trees and vegetation which gives it a very nice atmosphere. Personally, that's one of my favorite traits of this college. The student community is very nice and are always willing to help. There are a good variety of associations for you to join no matter your major. Unfortunately, if you want to join a sports team there's only a few choices. Just like any other institution, there's good professor and the ones that give you a hard time, but don't let that stop you from achieving your dreams.
