Sophomore: I love that I get to be a part of Marching Mizzou and that the campus atmosphere is super engaging and exciting. Going to football games is a fun highlight, especially getting to perform on Faurot Field with some of my friends and peers. I wish that there was more to be done about campus dining and offering more nutritious options on the go. I also wish that campus parking would be improved, but I understand that it's a busy college town with lots of people coming and going every day. Despite that, I enjoy my classes, and I have met a lot of amazing people and professors. While there are over 30,000 students, the professors are good about offering office hours and getting to know their students on a more personal level, assuming that the student wants that. On top of that, there are fun places to visit such as the Missouri Theatre, Ragtag Cinema, and lots of local restaurants and shops. Being off campus can seem disconnected, but it definitely isn't. Sophomore: I really enjoy Central! The professors are incredibly patient and take time to thoroughly explain the subject. Everyone is incredibly nice and friendly. Academics and athletics are very important here. The only complaint is accessibility issues since our campus is made of several historical buildings. Freshman: My experience at Westminster has been overall amazing. I came in to college very scared and nervous. I convinced myself that I was going to make no friends, but that was not the case. From the first day on campus I have felt so welcome. The Blue Jay are so helpful. There have been many time where in have needed my professor just to be there while I do my work and they will do that for you. They are very generous. The student body is so warm and welcoming. The best thing about campus is CAB and all of the fun events around campus. The free food trucks, the bounce houses, and the build-a-bear at every student event gets everyone involved.... Sophomore: What I like about Columbia College is its "small town" vibe in a big city. Everyone on campus is involved with at least one organization and thoroughly enjoys the climate and culture of campus. Professors, administrators, and staff care about the students and try to get to know them and create a connection. There are many resources for students to use, including first-year mentors, free tutoring, career services, and mental and physical health services. Freshman: WELL! At first I didn't really won't to be here, because I wasn't ready to leave away from home and go off to college. But once I got adjusted to it, going to practice, training and workouts. Getting to know and i had got close to a few of the players. things started get better. I got to go to some of the Frat partys watching the Sorority and afraternitys step and stroll. was all new and exciting. But i really love the workouts the gym it's called THE LINK some may not like but not me. Also getting to meet students that's not from Missouri, different states some even from other countries. I have one of my famliy member that go here with me, that helped alot because I wasn't feeling being away from home. Sophomore: I have loved my experience with this school. All of the instructors have been exceedingly welcoming and I feel as though I am truly receiving a quality education. I had not previously enjoyed taking online courses, but this school was greatly helpful in allowing me to see the benefits of online schooling. Although we do not see each other in person, I feel connected with my classmates and there is a strong community in that we want to help each other succeed. My instructors are more than willing to help me so that I am able to succeed and learn the information that will be important in my career. Alum: William Woods is a great university. They’ve recently sworn in a new university president and I am confident he is going to bring about positive change moving forward! Their ASL and Equestrian programs are what they are known for, and having been a part of one of them, they are very solid programs. The Sciences and Arts are also very prevalent and many majors and minors are offered in those areas of study as well.
