Sophomore: I couldn't wait to share my experience with everyone! I was amazed by the excellent communication and thoughtful attention to every last detail from beginning to end. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel appreciated as a student and welcomed. With calming music playing in the background and a tastefully designed room, the ambiance was welcoming. My expectations were significantly exceeded by the quality of the goods or services provided; it was obvious that only the best components were put to use. The addition of additional diversity to their goods is the one item, though, that I would most like to see changed. Junior: I really love Murray State University! For the most part the professors and TA’s are really great. I have met lifetime friends there and can’t wait to come back in this upcoming fall! The only thing I would like to see Change is that I dislike that the online classes are so expensive compared to in person classes, and most of the online ones are not even full semesters. Freshman: The campus is on the small side, but that doesn't matter when there is a diverse amount of students here. I've met many people thus far and I've already made a few connections, some of which I think I'll carry with me after I graduate. I've attended this college before and graduated with an Associate in Arts, I'm now back to get my Associate in Business Administration for Accounting. So the people I met my first time are gonna be completely different from who I'm meeting in the upcoming semester, and I look forward to it. I'm excited to take new classes and learn again. Freshman: I am currently a freshman at West Kentucky Community & Technical College. Although I have only been here for a short amount of time, I have had an outstanding experience so far. The staff-to-student ratio is small, which has allowed me to make real connections with my professors. My current professors explain assignments well and clearly state what they expect from students. If I have an issue with any of my assignments, I can email the professor and will receive a response in a professional amount of time. If I had to change one thing, I think that WKCTC could offer more niche classes. I am a fashion design major, but I cannot complete any core classes without transferring. Sophomore: This community college has helped me a lot. When I needed help with my academic plan and choosing the right path, I have been offered several knowledgeable advisors right away. The admission staff, instructors, advisors, and even my fellow students have helped me obtain A's in all my classes last semester! Every time I needed further guidance for my projects and tasks, the instructors were there giving me all the information and advice that I need. Moreover, the finance office staff processes my financial aid right away and I have received my financial awards and scholarship in no time! I wish they had a 4-year school/university. I owe them a big thank you, up until then I bounced from one dead end job to another. Then at 35 years old I went back to college became a certified IT tech and finally had a future. All due to kind and caring teachers. You are never too old to start over. Your limits are what you put upon yourself.
