I got my undergrad degree and now pursuing my graduate degree from the same campus. I feel like I have emotionally, physically, critically and most importantly, professionally grown with the university and utilized the many resources that come with the experience. Freshman: My experience here has been pretty good. I have been taking Aims courses since my junior year of high school. One thing I particularly enjoy is how attentive the guidance counselors have been and how they are willing to help not only on a academic level but on a personal one as well. I am currently enrolled in the Automotive Service program and am impressed at the state of everything in the Windsor campus, from the Public Safety Institute building to the Automotive and Technology Center, everything is very clean and organized. Alum: This is a fantastic community college! Classes are very affordable compared to larger colleges, and if you don't have the funds to pay for tuition at the beginning of the semester, the Financial Aid office will help you find a solution. Furthermore, RRCC offers a wide variety of online, in-person, or hybrid classes to suit your schedule, and most of them are guaranteed to transfer to other colleges in Colorado. The professors are very supportive and want you to succeed with your academic goals. Plus, I prefer the small class sizes here over the larger, more intimidating classes at state universities. Also, it has great facilities and resources including a brand new student rec center, an IDEA lab to introduce students to engineering, the Arvada campus dedicated to the health sciences, a bookstore, and a coffee shop. Sophomore: I have had a great experience at Front Range! My professors take time to ensure each student understands the curriculum, and are very supportive and accessible. There are also many career opportunities at this school for students who may need the extra financial support. In terms of improvement, I believe Front Range can create more informative events on all the different programs they offer because there are many many programs which means there are also many questions that may not be as easy to find online. Freshman: I am currently getting ready for my first year in college and at Lamar Community College. I can't explain how excited I am to attend and be a part of the Lopes. I have only had 1 experience so far at Lamar Community College which was for orientation, and it was phenomenal. Graduate Student: I have been a student of the CCA since January 2021 up until Summer of 2023 when I completed my associates of science degree. I still have ambition to continue my education at the establishment as a graduate student since I am only a senior in high school who has been able to use the dual enrollment system to its full potential. The college has a wide variety of courses to choose from with many also being available online for convenience. CentreTech Campus offers you many useful resources while Lowry Campus contains locations specialized for certain types of education such as medicine or photography. The college also has a very diverse culture which makes social bonding an essential aspect of the experience. The professors have a good understanding of the concepts they teach and will support you in case you are struggling with course material.
