Sophomore: Having just finished my first year at Wesleyan I can definitely see why this place is so highly rated. By far my favorite thing about this place are the people I've met from professors to students to alumni. I just think this place attracts a type of person who is passionate and interesting and I think that's why I'm in college in the first place. For Brown Rejects: The university is expensive, and as you pay a flat rate and cannot switch classes around easily the experience can feel claustrophobic or rather limiting if you're among the MOST driven students; but O! to be in the middle 50 here; you will stumble into incredible classes with awesome professors and interesting students who will keep you engaged in the material and the work is manageable, club scene is a blast, music is great, alright nightlife, and great senior housing.... Freshman: Its a good campus and the staff is very welcoming! I enjoy my experience here, so far. Including the transitioning because I am a freshman and going into a new environment not knowing anyone was difficult for me to deal with. The campus is not to far from where I live and I am able to go to school, work, and enjoy my experience while being at the school. I can't wait to further my education at UConn Hartford. I have always wanted to go here and the fact that I am currently enrolled in the school and I have yet to feel uncomfortable or out of place, is refreshing!... Read 24 reviews

Other: The campus is easy to get to, and the staff has been helpful with transcripts and transfer credits to apply to the nursing program. The clinical sites I have attended and the Clinical Instructors have all been helpful and attentive. The only downside would be the book expense. Sophomore: Tunxis is truly full of amazing staff! The professors are attentive, caring, and always looking to help boost students up. They are also very understanding when it comes to needing extra help or extra resources. The advisors are very helpful and provide resources that save students money and time. The school itself is clean and well maintained with an abundance of clubs and organizations that provide resources for mental health, such as the human services club. The students are welcoming and it was easy to make friends and breach out of my social comfort zone. The school has many parking spots available, and two main entrances that make it easier so you don't have to walk 15 minutes to your class if you're running late. The classes are well-paced so that they do not become overwhelming, even as a full-time student I still have plenty of free time and time to work a part-time job as well.
