    Freshman: There are so many great things about UW-Madison. There is always something to do on and off campus. UW ensures that there is a place and event for everyone. The education and educators are top noche; I have never loved learning so much. The campus and facilities are amazing and well kept. In their School of Human Ecology, they had design students design their bathrooms, creating a mystical place to go when nature calls! My only complaint is their high tuition cost. As most people know, the cost of education increases every year and it has made it difficult for people to go to college without needing to worry about debt. As an out of state student, my I have to pay full tuition which adds on to the stress of getting an education. Although the university does their best to provide scholarships for people in need to financial aid, I feel as if they lack the scholarships for people who don't come from low income families, but are paying for their education independently.

    Freshman: Being a first generation college student and a freshman starting her first year at UW-River Falls, I was a little unsure about how adjusting to college life would be for me. I'm pleased to say it has went above & beyond my highest expectations. Besides a few hiccups down the road, my experience has been amazing. The academics are challenging, but very interesting. They have a phenomenal College of Agriculture, Food, & Environmental Sciences, including my major of Animal Science. It's a very affordable, fairly small, agricultural based college in a small town. The campus and scenery is beautiful, & everyone is welcomed with open arms, no matter what. It's very inclusive and I personally have found my niche with lifelong friends. The professors really do care about their students, & you literally are set up for success. Besides the occasional cold showers, bland college dinners & loud neighbors, UW-River Falls was the right choice for me!

    Niche User: The University of Platteville is a great place! It has very friendly people, good food and it also has amazing academics. When I toured Platteville for the first time I noticed how close the students were with each other and how close they were with their professors. I am super excited about the area also. It is a small town and it mostly contains only college students. I am beyond excited to attend the University of Wisconsin Platteville!

    Junior: Going to UWSP has been a great experience for me. The professors are good and they care so much about their students that they get to know them on a personal level and encourage them to succeed! They also offer many services to help students - tutoring, counseling, library resources, clubs, disability services, inclusivity, health services, etc. Campus is also in walking distance of many restaurants and shops.

    Freshman: I like that there are 30 students in a classroom. This makes you feel apart of a team, not a number. MATC has excellent diversity! I had classmates from ages 19 all the way to 60. There also was great diverse ethnicity. The classes were more like a community, a family. With the vast diversity, I didn't have feelings of peer pressure. We were all in it together, no judgement. I highly recommend this college, the teachers are informative and in gauging. They are there because, they deeply care for the field that they teach which makes the upmost difference.

The biggest problems I have personally had are parking and getting things cleared by the program people, but an in person visit usually clears everything up.

    Freshman: Grest school. Flexible schedules available as nd great teachers! You are in classrooms with a diverse group of people. Different ages, races as nd experience. I would recommend this technical college for anyone whether you have just graduated highschool or if you are returning to school in your forties. Not to mention, the cost of most classes is very reasonable. The school offers s greats cyber area, library and cafe. I'm pretty sure they offer child care as well!

    Sophomore: CVTC is a wonderful college, with teachers who honestly care about seeing you succeed. There's a lot of opportunities (clubs, work-study jobs, student government positions) to get involved and plenty of resources for if you end up needing help on schoolwork. There's lots of benefits for the students there (health benefits, bus passes, food pantry options, etc). Unfortunately, there's not many art classes or classes that allow for creativity, but the classes and programs are still really interesting and fun.

    Sophomore: As a forty something returning back to college it is life changing. This year was the ending of a restaurant career after twenty something years. Turned into the beginning of a wonderful future in the medical field. Starting in January of 2018 I enrolled myself into the Nursing Assistant Program at WWTC, in which I received my certification in. I enjoyed my learning so much, I figured I didn't want to stop learning and enrolled myself now in the Medical Assistant Program. The teachers, staff and alumni want to see everyone who walks through the Welcome doors to have a goal in mind and to succeed at it.

    Sophomore: I have loved my college experience so far! Gateway is so welcoming and there is so much support available for every student. The classes are lively, the professors are supportive and flexible and the student atmosphere makes you feel valued and included. Another bonus is that Gateway has awesome programs for half the price of other schools! They also offer decent financial aid and payment planning and assistance. I am so glad I chose Gateway to begin my collage experience and I would strongly recommend you go apply!

The teachers and other staff try to help in any way that they can, and are very accommodating to individual needs. There are so many degree and certificate options to choose from with overlapping requirements that makes switching degrees a fairly easy option. The tuition is also very low, making it an affordable place to start or finish your degree.

    Senior: I am in my final semester of the ADN program at WITC. I chose to go here for a couple of reasons, one including the fact that I already have a bachelor's degree from another school with the debt to prove it. I have enjoyed my time very much. The college itself is small and allows for the ability to get to know your classmates and instructors very well. They employ instructors that really care about you and want you to succeed. The nursing program itself is extremely challenging and is highly regarded in my area. I am grateful to be getting an education from this program because I know that local hospitals hold the graduates from WITC in high regard for not only their clinical skills but also their ability to critically think. Overall I am so impressed with my time here and glad that I decided to attend this college over a university. It is reasonably priced, well staffed with knowledgeable instructors and I have learned a ton!

    Freshman: I like how it is close to home and very affordable. They have so many free incentives for their students like free parking and tutoring. We also have free movie night on Tuesday and free bowling on Wednesday and Friday. They have a big pantry like place at the school where you can go in once a week to get two bag of free groceys to help you out if your struggling with money. I feel like they do whatever they can to help you go to school and stay in school. Also, the teachers are very nice and helpful, if your struggling to get homework done or to get to class just let the teacher know and they will be more then willing to sit down with you and figure something out to help you.
