There are a lot of opportunities for all students and a place for everyone to fit in and make friends! There is a great balance between academics and the social scene. Sophomore: I have had a great experience with Rider so far! Even though I am only a sophomore I have had so many opportunities! Rider’s 150 clubs and organizations to choose from really allows students to find their place! Something that was important to me while starting the college process was looking for a school that valued their academics, and Rider definitely does that. Junior: I'm very thankful that I chose Kean University. The campus is large, beautiful, there are tons of recources and help, and many food options. There is so much space to unwind and have quiet time to study. I started out in the design program and although I figured out the major wasn't for me, the design programs are excellent for those who want to pursue a career in creativity. Freshman: Rowan is an excellent school for those who want to find many opportunities, whether in academics, careers, or student life. As a first-year student, I have felt very welcomed at Rowan and have found that it is easy to make friends here, as long as you get involved in the events and clubs that happen throughout the semester. There is always something to do here! The Music Industry program has been fantastic so far and there are always opportunities floating around to immerse yourself in the industry and start your career. Safety in the surrounding area is a concern, so students should always stay vigilant. Freeman dining hall is definitely superior to Sam's Place. There are a decent amount of events to go to, and there are parties almost every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
