Sophomore: Yale has been a fun and enjoyable experience overall. I would definitely choose Yale again if I had to re-do my college application. Academics: some departments are better taught than other departments. Yale can be weaker in CS and Math compared to other universities, but most alums are still very successful. Like most colleges, there is a lot of independent learning and there are numerous resources to help you. The environment is not competitive unless premed. Social life: Yale has an AMAZING social life compared to other universities of equal caliber. There is always something going on and you can be as social as you want. Social life is nonexistent during midterm season. There are parties, frats, concerts, woads, club formals, and many other events. Freshman: Its a good campus and the staff is very welcoming! I enjoy my experience here, so far. Sophomore: Uconn Avery Point was extremely good to me over the course of the semester and a half that I spent there. The small classroom sizes and attention given to students from the staff is something that I found extremely beneficial. I was able to get to know my teachers personally and the professors were always willing to help and responded to my emails in a timely manner. While at Uconn Avery Point I was also a member of the basketball team. This was a great experience as my team, along with the whole athletic department, made me feel like I was wanted and that I was important. The only negative about Uconn Avery point is that there isn’t any on campus living but I looked forward to my 30 minute drive everyday! I would definitely recommend Uconn Avery Point for students who are looking to go to the Uconn Storrs campus after. Junior: Sacred Heart is an amazing school that really tries to get everyone involved in some way. It is my home away from home, and I always feel welcomed and feel like I belong at Sacred Heart. The campus is always growing and it is gorgeous. Sacred Heart is also very good at listening to their students opinions and suggestions, especially when it comes to the dining halls! Sophomore: I am currently in the 4+3 bachelor of athletic training and doctorate of physical therapy track and I absolutely love it. My major is very hands on and the professors truly love what they are teaching. The campus is very straightforward and has a simple layout. There's roughly 12k students on campus, so it's a medium size school that gives a lot of room to relax and a bunch of rooms in every building to study. I feel like this school is fairly comfy and isn't too overwhelming. Sleeping Giant overlooks the campus so there's a great deal of nature that surrounds the campus that gives it an enclosed feel. Food isn't the best, but definitely is not close to being the worst. Theres always a ton of student activities and there are tons of games to go to. Sophomore: I’m currently in my second semester of sophomore year and after completing all of my academic courses, I’m finally able to start working towards my illustration major and animation minor. Freshman: Studying at Trinity is the best experience i I’ve ever had. The student body is so cool, diverse, and supportive, the staff really cares about the students, and the professors are open to anything. Also Trinity is very generous - if u need grant money for research/study abroad/field trip - they always give it. Meals at Mother are really good. They’re diverse, and you can always find everything you need. CAMPUS IS SO BEAUTIFUL, one of the best (if not the best lol) college campuses in the US. Area around campus is so-so, but the campus safety is always on duty, and they have the blue lights system, so as a girl I feel safe about walking across campus even at 2am. Downtown Hartford is cool and pretty btw, it’s better to study at Trinity than in the middle of nowhere. The parties are SUPER FUN. Senior: A school that truly lives up to its expectations. This university has a wonderful staff that ensures your goals are met by the desired timeline. The staff are understanding, encouraging, and overall motivating, to help the student succeed. Students are treated as individuals and you have the opportunity to work one on one with Professors. The school provides numerous opportunities to succeed with office hours, tutoring centers, and open communication with Professors and advisors. The only downside in what brings my rating down is the limitation of courses in the evenings or the availability of courses for students that work full time while going to school full time. Sophomore: University of Bridgeport is an excellent school in terms of curriculum, faculty, and, of course, the radiant and huge campus. You have a wide array of majors to choose from, and the extra curricular opportunities are amazing! This school is also very much suitable for international students, considering I am an international student and I fit it in very nicely, just as other students from over 30 countries who were with me during the Fall '21 intake. Senior: My courses were conducted both in person and online this past semester.
