Santa Fe College has been an absolutely amazing college for me to attend! I moved here in 2010 and took classes for a couple years and then decided to take a break. I just ended up getting my AA in 2018 and let me tell you that Santa Fe College made my experience there so memorable. I received a "Finish At The Top" medal, one that is rewarded to students like myself who took time off from school and came back and graduated. The campus is beautiful and quaint, with classes sizes of 30 or less. There are multiple campuses in surrounding counties, so anyone who is fortunate enough to be able to go here should definitely take advantage of the opportunity!
This is my second college I have attended, and by far it beats many other colleges in quality and resources provided, as well as beautiful scenery. There are murals, gardens and landmarks everywhere on the main Gainesville campus. There are so many insightful and intelligent professors to learn from both academically and on a personal level. The clubs are also really fun to be a part of. There is a new club formed practically every semester. For the comparatively low tuition costs, this college provides you with so many opportunities to network, add to your resume, learn and grow. Although I am not disabled, I do recognize that Santa Fe is also very welcoming and accommodating to those with disabilities. There is a special club for students on the Autism Spectrum. Also important to note, we have our own police department right on campus, accessible at any time!
