I love attending SanJuan College! I have been actively enrolled in their veterinary technician distance-learning program since August 2021 and it has been a great experience so far.
Professors have been very easy to communicate with, knowledgeable, personable, and are always willing to help students to learn and succeed. Curriculum is pretty easy to understand. I was very nervous about taking classes online while also working a full-time job, but I was able to quickly adjust my daily routines and it has been a great experience. I want to give a big thank you to SJC, my professors, and my amazing academic advisor, Sherry Hair.

Excellent Student resources, accessibility and very knowledgeable instructors. There is a fairly decent sized library with a large gym at the Humanities section. Financial Office is easy to work with and the advisors are really friendly. I recommend this college to anyone looking to advance their education with a certificate, 2-year, or to transfer for a 4-year degree program. They also have free tutoring and computer lab to do school work in. And if you want, they also have housing for those not in town. There are many clubs and activities a student can join to feel a part of the community as well as events that are shared with the entire town. San Juan College also has it's own book store on campus to ensure the students get all the class resources they need. They also offer online classes for those who wish to learn from home with a wonderful Canvas Program that is easy to navigate.
San Juan College is amazing. You get the chance to meet different people, you have many opportunities that always comes your way. The professors are nice and professional, helping with anything you need. They have incredible programs to help you with what you're majoring in. The location wherw it is at is good. Nice for hikes, and other outdoor activities. In my opinion for what could go better for the college is the on campus living situation. They're just now starting to build dorms and apartments. I believe they should've had it done a very long time ago to give past graduates from San Juan a chance or made it easier for them to get to their classes. The prices are a little high, making us live from paycheck to paycheck. I used to play soccer and this college isn't really big on the sports side. The food is okay, to me it looks a bit greasy so I just get a little bag of chips and soda. Everyone is really nice and all the workers are helpful. Overall, its an amazingly small college.
