It sucks and one of the teachers wouldn't give me my test I took back or even tell me what answers I got wrong.
I started there had 1 amazing teacher she taught me everything I remember. Than the virus happened and they continued class. I have never touched a needle and am supposed to start my extern in 3 weeks. I have heard other training schools going back from all of this but we are still here waiting and they just pretty told me well it happens. Than they tell me no matter most your experiences is gonna come from the field anyways. So they do not care if they send their students out unprepared. Oh also have not gotten CPR certified so there is another thing. But hey they got my money right.
It is a very friendly and intense school. Classes fly by and you truly have to be on the ball in order to make it through. Students help each other complete assignments and the teachers are trying their best to provide us with the educational experience we are promised but remote classes just aren't the same no matter what you do. All of the staff is able and willing to help you with any questions or concerns you may have but there are just some things outside of their power that cannot be fixed.
Each class is five weeks long and they cram as much information as they can into those five weeks. By the time finals come around your brain is on system overload andyou are just hoping that all the information actually sticks instead of just being remembered to take the tests and then forgotten when you start the next class/classes after just having the weekend off.
Overall staff was very pleasant and professional. They went above and beyond to assist me in all questions or concerns. Can’t wait to start class.
Love the environment. The staff is amazing and very helpful. The classes are fast paced but you still get the opportunity to get real hands on learning.
What I admire most about San Joaquin Valley College - Hesperia is what I feel makes any school successful, the teachers. All my instructors thus far have proved dedication to the school and helping students to achieve an education. Not for just the students doing well but even the few not doing so well they give of their own time to help them achieve success like the others. Its this dedication to the students to gain the most from their schooling that I admire the most and wish to show the same kindness to others later on.
Instructors really care about you and want you to achieve every goal and be more than your very best. I enjoy going to school here and hope to have supportive teachers like them in my near future.
San Joaquin valley college was amazing. The teachers made sure you knew exactly what you were doing before you went out into the real world. The school will work with you if you're having trouble getting to school or if you need a babysitter. The teachers will even take time out of their busy schedules to aid you in after school tutoring. At sjvc we participated in an Easter egg hunt and a Halloween costume party. Honestly I would love to see the price change, but mostly the school is perfect.
I love it here and I will be happy to be finished to get my AA, but also sad when I am all done because I will be leaving all my friends, teachers and staff I get along with.
The student body is great there. ASB I am in involved in and we offer a lot of different activities, and volunteer work.
The best school I have ever attended.
They offer ASB, tutoring, Deans List, Perfect Attendance, and Academic Excellence.
They are very helpful here and I love everything about it.
There are no online courses available at my school it is all hands on training that is only available on campus.
It has been reasonable but I still am struggling to pay my monthly bills towards school which scholarships would be a great help for me.
I have learned so much while attending this school. The teachers are awesome, the staff, and the students(friends).
