If you don't give in to their authority, they will find a way to get you dismissed! Be courteous, or they will close their doors to you. Be genuinely hard working; they don't want to do the hard work with you.

I appreciate the fact that San Joaquin has the most friendliest individuals working there. They answered all of my questions, and whenever I didn't understand something, they helped out willingly and in a positive manner. I haven't even started yet and am so excited in starting. More schools should have workers like those working in San Joaquin Valley College. I love it.
My specific major is Clinical and Administrative Medical Assisting or CAMA. The program covered medical terminology, patient care, laboratory skills, vitals, First Aid and CPR, pathology, medical office, clinical studies, phlebotomy, injections, pharmacology, nutrition, insurance, coding and billing in addition to general education. The workload was a challenge only due to learning terminology and the basics of human anatomy. Despite the facility being a good size it had small classes of less than twenty people which was a lot more comfortable. There are required externship hours a student must complete to earn his or her degree at the end of their program. Job opportunities are very few in the valley and require years of experience which is why several student move away after completing their program.
