San Diego Mesa College is a great way to start college, they offer a transfer option which gives you time to think about what University you'd like to apply to in the near future. The staff helps you with anything and everything. Walk you through applying for financial aid, your classes, etc. The teachers are also great, very understanding, and helpful. Overall the school environment is very positive and great! Around the campus, they have many places you can go to do your work, or relax. The book store is also a great place and inexpensive it is located near the students classes.
San Diego Mesa is such a great community and campus. The staff and students really are the best, everyone is so nice and helpful. The campus is very clean and well maintained and they are constantly making improvements to better it. There are so many opportunities to give back and participate it really is like a community. I can honestly say I have enjoyed each and everyone of my classes along with the instructors. So many teachers that are engaging and funny and really go above and beyond to make your experience as enriching as possible!
After completing the Theatre program in the 90's, I returned to San Diego Mesa to complete my general education credits and will receive my AA in History is Spring. When I returned my counselor was so helpful with many, many zoom calls to solidify my goals and which classes would be get me there the quickest. I'm grateful to have received the support and community of kindness you would expect from friends.
Also,.. the professors syllabus are interesting and are invested in helping you learn!
