Salem International University Reviews
So far I am satisfied with my education from Salem. They were extremely easy to apply besides the fact that you have to pay $20 to apply. Admissions was helpful, teachers are great, Classes and instructional material are also very helpful and up-to-date.
When looking for jobs or internships, the staff is right there in a snap and will guarantee you a position in the real world to help you get settled on the path you need and want to take. Alumni are always coming back to get their Masters, improve the programs, do favors for the teachers when they need help setting up a huge project, they come back to be coaches, and even come back to explain to students their experience and how they always had help because someone was there for them when they needed them. The employers are some of the best in personality and experience, usually twenty years or more in their profession. The quality of the career center and services is like no other and it keeps being built upon to further the already amazing success rate that they have raised since the college began from its roots.
The academic experience is enjoyable, not tiring and is kept interesting to keep the students involved. The teachers make sure you understand before they try to overwhelm you and even if you are still fighting to grasp the concept, they will sit down with you and work through the difficult time you are having. The experience is just as good as any other college, maybe even better. As a new student, I was worried it would be overbearing, but I found that it was nothing like the teacher's said it would be, I find it to be less stressful than high school. However, I did take college courses to advance my learning in the next level, almost a sophomore academically after the first month of school.
