I have had good experiences so far. The teachers push you to the max because they want their students to succeed. OSF is very big here in Peoria Illinois and being a part of the school and working at the hospital is really rewarding. OSF has a passing rate on the NCLEX of 93% which tells you a lot of how committed they are on their students to pass and succeed.

My academic experience has been frustrating. The curriculm is very rigorus and unorganized at times. The online class registration process is lousy. There are not enough instructors for the number of students. I am fearful I will not graduate according to my plan of study. Additionally students are required to obtain their own clinical preceptors and penalized in their grade if contracts are not signed by deadline. There needs to be a administrator at the college that cooridinates contracts, clinical preceptors, and scheduling of clinical times.
In grad program, strong competition for "the big 3" core classes. More instructors are needed.
